Snailed Mail is real mail, made as a gift. Each edition includes a thoughtful letter, a mini good-news newspaper, original artwork, an organic tea bag and a few little extras, all created around a theme to bring a bit of connection into someone’s day.
Scroll down to see exactly what will arrive in their letterbox.
STEP 1. Choose the gift you want us to send.
Send a one-time Snailed Mail and choose which month's themed edition you'd like to gift, or choose a 3 or 6-month gift. With the 3 and 6-month options, a different themed Snailed Mail arrives in their letterbox each month, starting with Edition 1 and continuing in the order they were created.
STEP 2. Make it personal.
Add the recipient’s details and a personal message from you. For a one-time Snailed Mail gift, your personal message will be included with their delivery. For 3 or 6-month Snailed Mail gifts, your personal message will be included in the first edition only. The remaining editions will arrive without it, as your recipient will already know who the gift is from.
STEP 3. We take it from here.
We create it, personalise it, pack it, stamp it and send it through Australia Post.
STEP 4. Something lovely lands in their letterbox.
Real mail, made by a real person, ready to be opened, read and enjoyed.
P.S. You don't have to gift Snailed Mail to someone else. You can always send a little goodness to your own letterbox too!
Each month of Snailed Mail is built around a different theme. For example, Month 1 is Perspective, with every part of the mail created around that theme.
Each month is personally created by me, Nicole. From the words they’ll read to the artwork they’ll hold, I write, design and create every piece that goes inside.
Then I bring it all together, personalise it, pack it by hand, add a real stamp and send it on its way through Australia Post.
A little note from the sender
Every gifted Snailed Mail includes a small note explaining what Snailed Mail is and who sent it. Your personal gift message, written at checkout, is included with every one-time gift. For 3 and 6-month gifts, your personal message is included in Month 1 only. The remaining months arrive without it, as your recipient will already know who the thoughtful gift is from.
A letter from me to them
I know, a letter from someone they’ve never met might sound a little unusual. But that’s part of the charm.
Each month includes a letter written by me around that month’s theme. Everyone receiving the same month's Snailed Mail gets the same core letter, but I personalise it with their name before it’s packed and sent. Month 1, for example, is all about Perspective.
The letters are always warm, kind and thoughtful. They’re not political, religious or trying to tell anyone what to think. They’re simply good human stories, gentle reflections and positive ideas that anyone can connect with. Something to sit with for a few minutes, smile at, think about, or maybe see something a little differently.
The Little Paper of Good
A tiny newspaper dedicated to the GOOD stuff. Heartfelt stories, good news, thoughtful bits, a little humour and reminders that there is still plenty of good happening in the world.
Each month brings a new Little Paper of Good, created around that month's theme. And here's the lovely part: it's double-sided! Sometimes the back is a postcard to send to someone else, and other times it's a beautiful print to display and enjoy. A little something extra to keep, share or pass on.
A stand-up reminder
A little display card made to sit somewhere they’ll see it. On a desk, bedside table, kitchen bench or anywhere they might enjoy a few good words in their day.
An organic herbal tea
Because Snailed Mail isn’t something to rush through. Put the kettle on, make a cuppa and enjoy the moment.
A few little extras...
Tiny surprises tucked in along the way. Some to keep, some to share and some simply because little things can make an ordinary day feel a bit more special.
And yes, the envelope and stamp are part of the magic.
No digital download. No email attachment.
Snailed Mail arrives the old-fashioned way. A real envelope. A real stamp. Delivered through the actual post.

Hi, I’m Nicole.
I’m a mum, an overthinker, a bit of a dreamer and someone who always seems to have another idea brewing.
My life has definitely not followed a straight line.
I spent 14 years jumping out of aeroplanes for a living and somehow ended up with more than 2,500 skydives. I then swapped parachutes for lawnmowers and ran my own lawn and garden business for seven years.
I’ve started businesses, stopped businesses, had some great ideas and some absolutely terrible ones . I’ve changed my mind, changed direction and started again more times than I can count.
I’m dyslexic and I actually love it. My brain sometimes takes the scenic route to get somewhere, but I think that’s also why I see things a little differently. I’m always dreaming something up, questioning things and noticing the little stuff.
And actually, Snailed isn’t new.
I started Snailed over three years ago with a camera, some real-life snails and a ridiculous collection of miniature furniture and toys .
I’d photograph these beautiful little creatures in tiny scenes, driving cars, sitting on furniture and apparently even heading into space.
It was quirky little art with a really simple purpose: to make people smile.
I exhibited the photographs and trademarked the name Snailed, but eventually life moved on and Snailed got tucked away with a lot of my other ideas.
These days I live on a farm with an amazing man called Tom and the absolute light of my life, my daughter Marley.
Everything feels so fast these days. So much of our lives happens through a screen. We’re probably more connected than we’ve ever been, but sometimes it doesn’t really feel like it.
I wanted to make something real.
Something I could write, draw, fold, stamp and send from my hands to yours.
And somehow, all these years later, Snailed found its way back.
It looks completely different now, but when I think about it, the reason behind it hasn’t really changed at all.
I still just want to create something a little unexpected that lands in someone’s day and makes them smile.
I don’t have all the answers, and my letters definitely won’t pretend that I do.
I just want to write honestly about life. The good bits, the hard bits, perspective, hope, things I’ve learnt, things I’m still learning and all those little things we sometimes forget to notice.
Maybe something I write will make you think. Maybe it’ll make you laugh. Maybe you’ll stick something on your fridge. Or maybe you’ll just make a cuppa, read your mail and enjoy having something in your hands that another person made for you.
That’s really what Snailed Mail is about.
One human sending something real to another.
I’m really glad you’re here.
Love Nicole x
